Holiday Festival, Silent Auction of Annie Harlin’s “Last” Hooked Rug, Election of Officers
Holiday Festival: 67th Juried Fine Arts and Crafts Festival is this weekend (October 29th & 30th) at the Kutztown University O’Pake Fieldhouse. Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM, Sunday 10 AM to 4 PM.
Stop by and see what is new. We have some new members displaying their art; as well as, some new things from our long time members!
Silent Auction of Annie Harlin’s “Last of its kind” Hooked Rug. This event will take place at the Holiday Festival on Saturday, 9 AM to 4:30 PM only. This will be your last chance in purchasing one of Annie’s rugs. Did you see the great article about Annie in the Reading Eagle on October 12th?
Special Meeting: There will be a special general meeting at 9 AM on Sunday, October 30th in the Cafe area of the Holiday Festival. This meeting is to allow members who may live out of the area and exhibitors who may wish to join to attend a meeting.
Elections: yes the presidential election is coming up in November, but also the election of officers for Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen. At our next General Meeting on Tuesday, 7 PM November 1 at the GoggleWorks (check the board for room number), we will be electing our officers for the next 2 years.

Program: The program for the November 1st General Meeting will be newly juried members and the 2015 Mini-Grant winners. See what new things our members are making, especially our new members!

Board meeting: No Board meeting in October
General meeting: Sunday, October 30: 9 AM in the Cafe area of Holiday Festival
General meeting: Tuesday, November 1: 7 PM at the Goggle Works
Board meeting: Wednesday, November 30: 7 PM at the Goggle Works
Holiday Social: Tuesday, December 6: 6 PM at Yellow House details and signup on the website. Sign up before November 21 (Monday before Thanksgiving).
Totes will be for sale at the Holiday Festival and General Meetings while supplies last.
