Monthly Meetings
General Meetings are open to the public and are held at the GoggleWorks, 201 Washington St, Reading, PA 19601, on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM, except in June, July, and December, or as otherwise noted. Please see the upcoming meeting and program information below for details.
March 3 — Guest Artist: Kathi Ember
March 3, 2026: We will be joined by Kathi Ember, a professional artist/illustrator for over 40 years including trade and mass market children’s picture book industry. She has painted several murals, including one based on Alice in Wonderland for The Kemerer Museum of Decorative Arts in Bethlehem. Join us at 7 pm at the Goggleworks in Room 238 to meet Kathi, hear her story, and see her wonderful pieces.
Members - Apply for a Mini-Grant in time for the April meeting!
Four (4) Mini Grants, in the amount of $50 each will be awarded in April of 2026. If more than 4 applications are received, a random drawing will be held to determine the recipients at the April general meeting.
Applications should be downloaded and brought to the April general meeting.
April 7 — Gallery Visit: BCIU Student Art Show
April 7, 2026: After the general meeting and the mini-grant drawing (apply at https://rbcrafts.org/our-guild/education/), we will head downstairs to the Cohen Gallery to view the BCIU’s Secondary Art Show. This show features students from all 18 Berks County school districts. Get ready to delve into the minds of teenagers. It’s beautiful, thought-provoking, and insightful.
