President’s Message:

WOW: Next week at this time the craftsmen who will be participating in the 68th annual Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Festival at Kutztown University will be putting the finishing touches on this great event. Are you going to be part of this event? The excitement buzzing around this event is tremendous. We have the Goldilocks Project, a scavenger hunt for our patrons and a special prize for the first 50 shoppers through the door on Saturday November 4 and Sunday November 5. I am looking forward to seeing all our members there either as a vendor, volunteer or patron. We did some great advertising with some billboards, got a great story on the Goldilocks project–thank you Berks Country and we are on FACEBOOK. We need you to tell your friends on FACEBOOK about us. Like Us. Can’t wait to see you at the show. AND Thank you for always being there for your Guild. You are The Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen.

“Great players are willing to give up their own personal achievement for the achievement of the group.” Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
Your President, Barry Bennecoff

Show News:

Please advertise our upcoming Holiday Festival on Facebook, e-mails to your customers, and word of mouth! We are very happy with the line up of exhibitors this year including at least 7 students. Even if you are not doing the show, please volunteer! See Carol Haile or Cleon for an assignment.

Unfortunately, The Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen Annual Spring Festival 2018 will not be held due to the Kutztown University’s O’Pake field house being fully booked. However, we have a great replacement!

We will have a heated tent at the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center at Kutztown University’s Easter on The Farm, Saturday, March 24, 2018 from 10am to 4pm. GPS address is 22 Luckenbill Road, Kutztown PA 19530. Spaces for this event are very limited, for Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen members only and will be first come- first serve basis. No booth fee. 15% commission on sales payable to the PA German Cultural Heritage Center. Contact Barry Bennecoff woodman225@aol.com to reserve your space.
