President’s Message:

The big event is finally here and we are ready!  With all the hustle and bustle that occurs on Friday and Saturday, setting up the show, seeing all the vendor booths going up and seeing all of our members as a vendor, volunteer or just visiting, makes me one happy President of this great guild.  Seventy years is quite a high mark  in our history and being here at Kutztown University for the eleventh year for our Holiday Festival is just is icing on the cake.  Kutztown University and our relationship with the Heritage Center are cherished friends of our Guild.
Your Guild is trying to keep up with the times and we are doing four pop up shows at Renninger’s Farmers’ Market in the White Room.  Jim and Sharon Renninger are just as exited as we are to be able to offer this casual venue to our makers and craftsmen.  We are looking to get craftsmen and makers excited about Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen.  It is indoors, heated and a secure area.  The fee is $30 for a 6’ x 10’ space. We are calling them First Saturday’s.  Dates are December 7, February 1, March 7 and April 4.  Easy set up.  Show hours 9 AM to 4 PM.  Find the application on our website—rbcrafts.org.
