In Memory of John Haile

John J. Haile Jr., 68, passed away April 22, 2016, in his Reading residence.
He was the husband of Carol J. (Batzel) Haile. Born in Danville, he was a son of the late John J. and Catherine R. (Concannon) Haile.

John was treasurer of the Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsman and member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians St. Brendan’s Division 1 of Reading.

He was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, Shamokin, in 1965 and Bloomsburg University in 1971.

John was a certified public account for 35 years, retiring in 1999.

He was a member of St. John Baptist de La Salle Roman Catholic Church, Shillington.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, David L., husband of Marjorie A. (Englebach) Haile, Reading; four siblings: Michael, husband of Gail Haile, Clinton, N.Y.; Patrick “Red” Haile, Bridgewater, Va.; Mark, husband of Suzanne Haile, Bloomsburg; and Jane, wife of Ronald Klacik, Carlisle. Two grandchildren, Colleen Haile and Josef Haile also survive him.

He was predeceased by his sister, Mary Ann Miller.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wednesday, April 27, 2016, in Gethsemane Cemetery Chapel of St. George.
