Sights and sounds of the Holiday season will delight your senses as you wind your way through the 69th annual Holiday Fine Arts and Crafts Festival presented by the Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 9 AM to 5 PM and Sunday, November 4, 2018 from 10 AM to 4 PM. The event will be held in the Kutztown University, O’Pake Fieldhouse, South Campus Drive, on the corner of Trexler Avenue and Baldy Streets, Kutztown, PA 19530.
Enjoy non-stop entertainment by the Acoustic Road Show while dining at the in-house café. Over 100 traditional and contemporary artists will have their handcrafted items on sale. You will find photography, fine artwork, wood turnings, wearable art, dried florals, gold and silver jewelry, paper cuttings, folk art, theorem paintings, calligraphy. basketry, redware, contemporary and decorative ceramics, stoneware, blacksmithing, furniture, fraktur, wood carvings, metal work, pysanky, weaving, star craft, paper sculpture, quilting, hand spun wool, plus a student gallery with emerging artists. Making new friends of the artists and craftsmen as they share their stories and some demonstrating their skills, will make your shopping day most enjoyable and memorable.
The first 50 people through the door each day will receive a special Holiday gift from our craftsman, Butcher Martofel. Hourly door prizes, and a pick-a-prize table add to the excitement of this festival. Free parking and handicapped accessible. Admission is $6.00 by donation. Children 12 and under are free. In partnership with the Pennsylvania German Cultural Heritage Center, and Kutztown University. Proceeds benefit the Educational programs of the Reading-Berks Guild of Craftsmen.
